Wooden wick candles
Every once in awhile candle makers run into new and exciting products. New to the candle making scene are wooden wicks.

Overdipped Crystal candles
Putting a crystal overdip finish to a candle can be achieved with the following technique. It can be used with almost any candle made at home or bought at a store. This crystal overdip will add an almost dew like, frosty, shimmering appearance to your candle.

Wine glass candles
Using wine goblets as a container for your next candle making project will add a special touch to any occasion.

Making your own candle wicks
A candle wick works by capillary action, where it transports melted wax to the flame. As the melted wax reaches the flame it vaporizes and is burned. Primed wicks lightly coated with wax aids in lighting the candle. When your wick burns it pulls melted wax to the flame and continues burning.

Multiple wick candles
The making of a multiple wick candle is done by spacing several wicks an equal distance apart. This particular candle making project contains five wicks. The additional wicks will add a magical touch to any room. You may choose to use a circular, oval, square or rectangular mold for this project.

Giving your candle a cracked appearance
We all have seen candles that have a cracked surface. They are unique and give a rustic looking appearance. Have you ever wondered how they do that? Today, we will be making such a candle.
